1) Fill out ENTRY FORM and return with FEES. Entry Forms can be picked up at Keller Williams 100 Bluegrass Commons Ste. 2100 (Contest Sponsor) or click here.
2) Entries will be displayed at Bluegrass Yacht and Country Club from December 4 to December 6, 2009 and will be Auctioned to the highest bidder at the December 5th St. Nicholas Ball.
3) Bring a 3” x 5” card listing your name, address, phone, name of entry and category you have entered and leave it with your entry. A number will be put on the back of it so your name will not be seen by the Judges.
4) The entire visual display must be made of edible materials with the exception of the surface it is mounted upon. Non-visible interior supports of other materials are allowed.
5) If lights are used, they must be battery powered, however, remember that they must last from December 4 to December 6, 2009.
6) The Gingerbread House display must be mounted on ½ “or ¼” plywood with a maximum size base of 3 Ft wide and 3 Ft. long.
7) Name your entry! Display the name in the design of the House and this must be also edible, (i.e.: Santa’s Workshop, My B & B, Oma’s House)
8) OLOL Contest Committee reserves the right disqualify any entry that does not meet the requirements.
9) All entries must be brought to the Bluegrass Yacht and Country Club on Friday, December 4th between 8am-NOON.
10) Entries will be judged on Originality Appearance, Creativity, and Difficulty
11) Entries will be *Auctioned at the Saint Nicholas Ball on Dec. 5th.
12) The winning Entry participates will ride in the Hendersonville Parade on December 6th.
13) Cash Prizes and Ribbons will be awarded after the judging on December 4th.
14) Auctioned Gingerbread Houses must be picked up. Move out will be announced at a later date. HolidayFest 2009 reserves the rights to dispose of any left after the date determined.
15) HolidayFest 2009 Contest Committee reserves the rights to photograph entries for any promotional purposes. Photographs become the property of HolidayFest.
16) Neither HolidayFest 2009 Contest Committee nor Youth Leadership Sumner is responsible for any damage or loss.
REMEMBER: DEADLINE FOR ENTRY FORM WITH FEE IS NOVEMBER 16th!

• Royal Icing tends to hold up well
• Suggested materials” nuts, sugar cubes, cereal, royal icing, pretzels, any cracker or cookies.
